For open-water applications, rig the Uni on a #4–#3 treble hook with a 1/32oz–1/16oz tungsten nail weight.
NEKO RIG
Rig the Uni on a #1 finesse wacky Neko hook with a 1/32oz–1/16oz tungsten nail weight to maximize the bait’s ability to pulse and push water with each snap of the rod.
JIKA RIG
Pair the Uni with a #1–1/0 finesse wacky hook and a 1/8oz drop shot weight using a Jika attachment to unlock the bait’s unique rolling action with quick twitches of the rod.Â
